Telling us your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you were doing when it went wrong gets you a useful answer much faster.
Subscriptions
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → HeightUp → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription, and neither does deleting your HeightUp account. Only Apple can cancel it, and only from the screen above.
I paid but the app still shows the paywall
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you bought with. If it still does not unlock after a minute, email us and include the date of purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, so we cannot issue one. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple ID you purchased on.
How do I stop a free trial before it charges me?
Cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends, using the same Settings → Subscriptions path above. Cancelling during the trial still lets you use the paid features until the trial's last day.
Your data
How do I delete my account and everything in the app?
Open Settings inside HeightUp and use the delete option. It erases your account on our servers and wipes the app's data from your iPhone. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel your subscription. Cancel that separately.
Can I get a copy of my data first?
Yes. Settings has an export option that produces a file with everything the app holds about you. You can save it to Files, email it to yourself, or AirDrop it. Do that before you delete anything you might want back.
Where is my data stored?
Almost all of it never leaves your iPhone. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what stays on the device, what reaches our servers, and who else processes it.
I changed phones and my history is gone
Your logs and height history live on the device, so they move only with a full iPhone backup restore. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and follows you. Use Restore Purchase on the new phone.
Using the app
Why did my predicted height change?
The estimate updates when you record a new measurement at a check-in. That is the point: it is meant to follow your real growth rather than stay frozen at the number you got on day one. It is a statistical estimate with a wide margin of error, so movement within that range is normal. See the Health Disclaimer.
The meal scan got my food wrong
Every value on the confirm screen is editable before you save. Change the grams or any nutrient and the totals follow. The app also shows whether a figure came from the USDA reference table or was estimated, so you know how much to trust it. If it is consistently wrong on a specific food, tell us which one.
I have run out of scans or coach messages
The AI features have daily and monthly fair-use limits that keep them affordable. They reset automatically. If you are hitting them in normal use, email us.
I am not getting notifications
Check Settings → HeightUp → Notifications on your iPhone, and that reminders are switched on inside the app. Notifications are scheduled on your device, so opening the app now and then keeps the schedule accurate.
Privacy and legal

HeightUp cannot help in an emergency
We are a small team answering email, not a medical or crisis service. If you are worried about growth, weight or eating, please talk to a doctor. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. In the US and Canada call or text 988, in the UK and Ireland call 116 123, or find your country at findahelpline.com.
